Help - Secondary Fermentation

Post by craigmtc » Tue Feb 24, 2009 10:49 pm

I would really appreciate some help her guys. I have a Woodford Wherry which actually reached the required final gravity, I transferred this in to a brand new (tested) KKTP 8 days ago with required priming glucose, I turned the tap tonight and nothing, not a drip, totally flat. What should I do?

In addition on the same day I bottled a coopers lager, how do I know when to move them in to the cold for conditioning, it appears to have started to clear really well?

Any help would be really appreciated

Cheers

Craig

well craigy lad i cant vouch for the keg because ive only ever bottled but if your bottles have been in the 18 to 22 degree range for about a week [ish]
then they should be fine for whacking down the callar for a few weeks to condition.

well it would be rude not to wouldnt it?
dont be surprised if it tastes a bit `cidery` though.

Brysie, I cracked one open and it was good not like cider. So given time to condition it should be cracking.
