olde home wrecker
olde home wrecker
I'm new to this home brew and have olde home wrecker on brew now I put it in on Friday night I also have a heater in it and for 2 days I have OG of 1010 should I keg it or leave it a bit longer
Re: olde home wrecker
Standard practice is to keep checking the readings and keg when it has remained constant for two days or more, 1010 is pretty good, so if its like that tomorrow then I say get it kegged!!

Re: olde home wrecker
General rule is, one week for every 10 point drop. So, usually one week at room temperature and three weeks cooler (around 12 C). However if you manage that, you've more willpower than I have

Re: olde home wrecker
I find the longer the better but I recommend trying it regularly to appreciate how it will change, and they really do! I recall a Brupaks Fixby Gold I did and 2 weeks in the keg I hated it! three weeks it was palatable, but from week 5 it become blooming lovely!! and it changes every time I take a pint.
