Re: plastic bottle carbonation
Chill out, one of my last brews i left in the warm for 2 weeks to carbonate, and a more recent one for 1 week

Re: plastic bottle carbonation
about two weeks is good for a decent carbonation to build up

Re: plastic bottle carbonation
yes the bottles were primed with silver spoon (it was in the cupboard) but the last kit i did seemed to pressure up very quickly compared to this one, i will keep an eye on the little buggers and use various threats if they dont start soon

Re: plastic bottle carbonation
I bottled my coopers euro on monday added the sugar to the bottling bucket and the plastic bottles were hardening yesterday (wed). Clearing nicely dunno how I'm gonna resist temptation for 12 weeks

Yeah, I saw a thread somewhere on JBK about this very subject, I think the jist of the whole thing was that it doesnt matter what you use, Silver Spoon or T & L, its so similar it wont make any noticable difference. And that came from the mouth of a master of all things sugary.simple one wrote:Practically the same stuff, especially once refined.mickhew wrote:Silver Spoon is "sugar beet" sugar, not cane sugar, is that o.k to use I ask myself, someone ?
