(yet another) Sierra Nevada Pale Ale clone

This is kind of an amalgamation of several different recipes I have found here and on other forums for SNPA. Its come out well, and IMHO pretty close to the original, so I think its probably worth posting given there seems to be significant differences in the recipes about. If I brewed it again (and I probably will) I would add just a touch more crystal malt, perhaps 500g

Interested to see you use sugar. Pretty sure that's not used by SN but I suppose if it comes out fine then no worries!

I'd be willing to bet that SN does not use sugar, but this is not SN doing the brewing and if you are happy with the results that is what counts.
I'm just here for the beer.

Yep, adding a bit of white sugar is a cheat to increase the gravity slightly. It doesnt seem to affect the flavour significantly. I use some in most of my US style brews.
