(I still think that the payback over pub and supermarket beer will be 2-3 years

Over the past few months I have been reading posts like Adm etc's 120l

My Peeko Brewairy is staying at a very steady 21C+/-1C - not bad for fermenting, until I brew. Then it shoots up to 28C+, even with the monster tangential fan.
So, for a couple of months, I am thinking about brewing outside the brewairy and twee.
Thanks to the likes of Leewink, Rogerm, Rimski and Koomber some interesting low cost options have been spotted.

So to the strains of Floyd's Brain Damage ---
I have come up with a Lidul brewery (sorry....

It is just the right size for a corny full and a bottle or two.
It still lets me underlet, RIMS, have recirculation wort cooling and is fixed in the sense of "together" but easily moved.
It can do step mashes for lager etc and can increase the mash tun to 77C for mashout. You could use gravity fed fly sparging, but I will probably stick with batch.
It is also completely unnecessary for making excellent beer but yet another challenge and good for a laugh

I have some Armaflex which I will probably use to lag all three vessels later.
The "false bottom" for the mash tun, it should leave plenty of room for the wort to move while being heated - this should avoid hot spots and singed grist:

The mash tun with the re-circulation/sparge manifold:

This shows the re-circulation return pipe which gives a whirlpool (with these pumps, this is best described as pathetic, but whorsis and coarsis...). It also shows one of the two hop filters which fit down into the lowest part of the vessel:

The CF plate cooler is from the Peeko Brewairy when I upgraded to a 50 plate. I am considering a different cooler, also external but rather different....

The two 10mm JG straight connectors allow:
1a) Underlet from HLT into mash tun, backwards through the pump
1b) RIMS
1c) Pump into boiler, via the re-circulation pipe or hung over the edge
2a) Re-circulate cooled wort (the pump is on the outlet of the cooler as advised by Solarproject)
2b) Gravity or pump boiler to FV.
The frame is "speedframe" which I had left over from something else - it is not a sensible solution if you have to buy it! I put a back on it in case I wanted to hang anything from it, but it makes it easier to move as well.
Nurse, nurse, I'll have my pills now please........
