I'm a fan of First Gold and use it to make one of my regular brews. It might be a bit darker than you are looking for.
I use a total of 100g of hops in this baby.
Here is the recipe:
Quaffer.
3.5Kg Pale malt.
500g Crystal malt.
Mash @ 67C.
Boil.
60 min:
First Gold (8.2%AA) 30g
15 min:
First Gold (8.2%AA) 30g
5 min:
First Gold (8.2%AA) 15g
0 min:
First Gold (8.2%AA) 10g
Fermentation
Ferment with Gervin Ale yeast.
Barrel condition and dry hop with 15g of First Gold.

Glad it turned out well for you. As I said, it's one of my regulars. I haven't brewed it in a while myself. It's a summer drink to me, for some reason.
More malty than hoppy? There should be about 35 IBU in that baby. Maybe we define hoppy differently. I suppose, the way the additions are presented, it emphasizes hop flavour and aroma, more than bittering.
The dry hopping addition only adds hop aroma, so it won't affect the flavour all that much. Having said that, if it's as good as you say it is, I probably wouldn't fiddle with it either.

Well, obviously that would depend on your efficiency.
Assuming 75% efficiency it would be 1.041, which is about what I used to get.
My efficiency has gone up quite a bit since then though, so I would expect to get around 1.047 or 1.048 now.
Hmmm. I just realised that might be a problem for the next time I want to make this beer. I will have to reduce the ingredients to 3Kg of pale malt and 400g of crystal, just to end up with the same beer.
That might explain the “More malty than hoppy” character slurp the apprentice noted. Maybe he has a better efficiency than I had when I formulated this beer. What OG did you get Slurp?
