Cheers chaps!

Having a furtle in the garage tonight got me excited about it again! It got to be a bit of an effort at one point as it was taking ages!

Just having a poke about on shebay now for a plate chiller! :D

Well, yesterday I ordered the Plate HX from Germany (via ebay), a new digital thermometer from thethermometersuperstore.co.uk, the #40 mesh for the hop stopper from Inoxia, and some grain and yeast for the 1st brewday from thethriftyshopper.

That was at 10:30AM yesterday. I have had a shipping invoice from Germany emailed at 06:47AM this am, my thermometer arrived at 09:00AM and my grains and yeast turned up via parcelfarce at 01:00PM! :D :D

now that is service

I'm a happy chap!

Well the 1st brew went VERY well! I was expecting it to be full of things going wrong and shite beer at the end of it! But it turns out it tastes damn good! It got down to FG within a few days and has been sat in the warm for the yeasts to moo up any aldehydes and other volotiles! Going to keg in FV and bottle the other! The kegs for drinking To keep me from the bottles! :D

I've got another half brew test day coming up next week so I can go though it again on my own and compile a list if tweaks etc! It's gonna be a dry stout as I have a load of roast and flakes barley and Amber malt to use! :D good job I love stout! :D
